Living South Africa was founded on the belief that relocating to a new country should feel like a considered decision, not a leap of faith.

Our founder spent more than seventeen years in foreign exchange, business banking and commercial leadership — a career built around the practical mechanics of moving money, opening doors and navigating the systems that decide whether a cross-border move succeeds or stalls. That work brought her into contact with hundreds of people making significant international moves, and revealed a consistent gap: plenty of advice on paperwork, very little on the things that actually shape a life here — where to bank, where to live, which schools, which professionals to trust, and what nobody thinks to tell you until you’re already committed. Too many arrivals were being shaped by whoever happened to answer the phone first.
